Many JRPGs have been ported over to the PC, but many are still inexorably linked to gaming consoles. Given that PC gaming is on the rise, here are ten JRPGs that deserve a place on PCs.
I would be so happy if Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King came to PC, it's one of my favourite JRPG's of all time. Saying that, i could just play it on the emulator PCSX2.
All I want is a Valkyria Chronicles 2 & 3 (fully localised) HD remaster collection.

"Now that Sony is bringing PS2 games upscaled in 1080p and also includes trophies on the PlayStation 4, many JRPG gamers got excited with this idea as the PS2 had some of the best JRPGs ever released on any platform. If you grew up playing JRPGs on the Playstation 2, now is the time to get excited as maybe your all-time favorites will make a debut on the PlayStation 4." - JPS
How about every JRPG released on the PS2? That seems about right.
And i want FFXII on PS4 now!
Square! Give me my HD version please.

PS2 era is the golden era of JRPGs, so it would be awesome if these games are released for PS4 as well.
Quite liked one of the hack games. Never finished it and haven't a clue where it's gone so I wouldn't mind giving that another go.
Not upscaled, rendered in 1080p. All upscaled would mean is that the game takes up the entire screen instead of only the pixels it would require (or maybe set to a 4:3 aspect)

RPG's have a tendency to be a long drawn out gameplay experience, Jon has provided a list of 5 RPG's that are worth sinking your valuable time into.
Baldur's Gate, Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, Knights of the Old Republic, The Witcher, Mass Effect + Dragon Age (the first ones anyway)...
I'm a huge fan of the Shadow Hearts games. Even though Nautilus (the studio who developed the game) is closed, I sincerely hope that we see another title in the series.
P.S. According to Wikipedia, the creative staff of Nautilus went on to form Feelplus! Now I know why I liked Lost Odyssey so much, and where the "ring" system in that game came from.
most underated rpg of all time is Xenogears.
Terraningma on the SNES is very underrated.
Lost Odyssey
I really liked the Grandia series. I hardly know anyone that has played any of the games.
