Just give us a freakin US release date .....already

Mandaspt6298d ago

Let´s see if they told anything about it in E3.

Delta6298d ago

I hope this game comes up in GDC or E3 and announce a North America release date. I wanna get this. PS3 needs more RPG's.

kewlkat0076298d ago

hopefully it's not mediocre and scores well above 90's, which is the only Jrpgs ps3 gamers play.

Why o why6298d ago

are you bitter or witty, im not sure

SupaPlaya6298d ago (Edited 6298d ago )

I think he is witty at being bitter :)

If he is really is being bitter, I don't really blame him. Some* people were quick to suggest a game that score less than an 8 a flop, and automatically associate all RPGs for a given console flops. I think he's just trying to point that out.

Although I think it would be better if he didn't point out one particular console/group of people, It would make him seem more objective.

Back on topic: I think this game looks great, but storyline seems a bit cliche. Hopefully I'm wrong. I am starving for a good JRPG (tried VC but it really isn't my cup of tea). So a NA release date would be nice at E3.

Why o why6298d ago

you're bang on. mr kewl seems to be loosing his objectivity. But im going to guess the blame for that lies at the ps3 fans feet;) I still remember people calling Uncharted a 'flop' because it got a few 8's but now 8's dont matter. Now its what the people enjoy and sales and whatnot. The fact that the majority of the jrpgs this gen have been mediocre and the respective scores have been set upon is setting some ps3 guys up for eggy faces should wkc also turn out to be mediocre so I can see where kewl may be coming from its just that from since i landed on n4g games that were enjoyable on the ps3 were called flops for one reason or the other and i cant be asked to track back and see if kewl was so fervent in his 360 preference. Some call it 'get back' some call it pettiness...ar well this is N4G after all

I really want this game. I've been dying for a really good JRPG for this generation and, for some reason, JRPGs have been lacking so far. I'm talking both systems here not just one. No one has really delivered anything great so far, but I believe in Level 5, they haven't missed a beat yet.

This game must be released this year in US and Europe. We have waited too long.

heroicjanitor6298d ago

I doubt this game will be released this year in US. No one in Level 5 talk about an english version.

The game looks like a half-baked FF12 wannabe compared to what it originally looked and played like (fake demo presentation)

Back to Demon's Souls for me

Memorable Music in Gaming #21

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:

I am kicking things off by going back to a familiar well here - with a song from the Neverwinter Nights soundtrack. This is still arguably one of my favorite music scores in a video game ever, but I decided to lead off with it and then create something of a theme as I decided to pull all of this edition's songs from RPG games.

Neverwinter Nights (PC) - Battle - Forest Boss

I touched on the somewhat mystical quality of another Neverwinter Nights song last week when discussing City Docks Day. There were a lot of really good battle tunes in this one, but the Forest Boss song always stood out in my mind. The battle itself was not even the most memorable one, but right around the one minute mark, it reaches an epic level that just stuck with me.
