PC Format has reviewed Cryostasis, the survival horror FPS from Russian developer Action Forms: "It's an incredible game. Indeed the term 'game' barely does it justice – 'experience' would be closer, but even that isn't quite right. It's a title you'll want to talk about down the pub; although like a book that you want others to read, you'll stop yourself giving away too much."

This is nice, but most of these are prehistoric games.
I can't go back that far now...
I suppose when you compare it to the horror games of this generation you can squeeze it under that genre.
I'm sorry, System Shock 2 is the best space horror game I have ever played, I would love if they revisited/remade that game.

I wish more games had the same eerieness and depth.
When I first played Cryostasis, it was like being dragged into an entirely different world. The sound effects are particularly good.. if it is cold outside, play this game and leave the window open. Trust me.
This game sounds cool.
It's fair to say it's had a mixed response, mainly because the combat is weak, but if you're looking for something different to the usual FPS fodder, then it's worth a look.
