
After the updates Apple released to their desktop lines on Tuesday, it left many people wondering what happened to the Mac mini. Sure, it's got a faster processor and better graphics capability, but it still looks the same as it did back in July 2007. It has to be said, a few quiet updates with no notification wasn't quite what was expected.

And using the same chassis and overall design is the best way to do that. The Mac computer products are the most distinct products in their class, so there's little reason to change things up at the moment.
I'd love to get a Mac Mini for iPhone development (and probably will by June), but I'm hoping that Apple catches up with their PC counterparts and finally adds HDMI output and Blu-ray support.
