gamigo AG and HanbitSoft have announced the start of the European closed beta test for the first Steam Punk themed MMORPG NeoSteam. Known in North America as Neo Steam: The Shattered Continent, NeoSteam lets players experience a completely new and original fantasy world. Players are able to use advanced machinery to improve their equipment or to travel the massive continent of Rope Isle. They are even able to build their own mounts and take them to battle against other players. Players can visit the official website to register for the beta test.

Recently, Massively had the opportunity to sit down with Jeffrey Hong, marketing coordinator for Atlus Online and Neo Steam. It's been awhile since they were able to talk one-on-one with the steampunk MMO developer, so they decided to ask a few questions about the game's current progression, the often-overlooked deep lore and the recent addition of 100 new games to Atlus Online's portal.
