It actually was a pretty well built an fun machine, I remember walking down the street in my town and on the ground in front of me was the Lynx cartridge of Rygar, man I played that game over and over again an ended up selling the Lynx with that game. weird...

I don't care what anyone says. The Saturn was great and had some great games that are still incredible to this day. I own mine still and every now and then I will go back and play some of the great games. Guardian Hero's is still probably the best side scrolling beat em up of all time in my opinion and the only place to play it is on the Saturn.

This was supposed to be the first game console that would literally be used for download distribution. Full games all to the console. It never appeared thus the name phantom.

2 of those were handhelds. I thought handhelds and consoles were different. Well ,I can't believe they didn't mention the Atari jaguar. Maybe it died so fast no one remembers it. It seemed like I got mine for Christmas and by spring they stopped making them. Do the math. lol.

Have a virtual boy. Tennis is the only decent game on it anyway, the baseball is laughable but still a joy to play. Didn't know it was sought after.

What about the Neo Geo? It was a $600.00 system and every game was $200.00. The Neo Geo CD came out later and games became cheaper but the system was still $600.00.

I owned a 3DO. It had some really cool games for its time.

Games like NovaStorm, StarFighter, and some 3D action game where you were some sort of cyborg, or something and you faced bosses like Medusa and the like. I can't remember the name of that game, but the graphics of Medusa scared the pants off of me when I was young.

About real crashing I lost one Ps2 60g model and my 80g model broke but it could be fixed . Phew.

I think that Xbox360 and PS3 are terrific fun video games but the kind cpu/gpu etc they use are preaty much close to what is used in a desktop PC that had a case much larger.

Hopeffully the next gen video games that plans to be more powefull then an xbox360 or a PS3 they should use a larger case and other things like better coolers to help with the ventilation OR use a totally new high tec that permits to make an ever uberer vg then the ones we have now in a smaller( I don't think this is possible) case.

Edit : BTW the Ps3 has a recomended use to max temp of only 35 Celsius.
I am not an expert on this matter but I belive it is very low number considering that many big cities in Europe and USA and not to mention other parts of the globe at summer time it is not hard to get at least get close to 35C in a room without air conditioning.

If we are supposed to use our Xbox360 and PS3 in a controlled temperature room of 17 Celsius or so then it is stupid... make a larger case....
