Question and Answer interview with Travon Santerre, Producer and CEO, at TnT Gaming LLC about XNA Coomunity Game 'TWP Spine of the World'.

TWP Spine of the World was released by developer TnTGaming and is quite a mouthful to say for a game. It is one of the few role playing games available on the XBLA and mixes a platformer game with RPG elements.
Unlike pen and paper games you do not take turns or plan out your moves in the game. You control a character who jumps platformer-style and attack enemies. The character you create is done via old-school Ultima type controls in which you make life choices at the beginning via a set of options that determine what type of character you play. You can choose to be "good" or "bad" and most everything in between at the beginning. Once you have your character you get to accept quests and proceed to work through the story line.

For the first time on Xbox Live Community Games, and Xbox Live Arcade as a whole, one developer has created a fully realised RPG. Using pre-rendered 3D technology, similar to Mortal Kombat's character animation, a fully dynamic skill and character development system, as well as about 8 to 10 hours of gameplay, the game is called TWP: Spine of the World.
