Kotaku's review is great. Very informative and fair, and it really mentions some of the greatness of the game. I agree with them, the level designs are absolutley, stunningly impressive. I love the campaign in this game (haven't even touched the multiplayer yet).

On a side note, the ridiculous fanboyism going in the comments section over at Kotaku ... just, wow. So many people complaining about the game, calling it "horrible", etc. Even if Kotaku is trying to be objective and fair to all platforms now, it would appear that the majority of their commenters are still very much pro-360, anti-PS3.

This is how I think reviews should be done I cant stand Kotaku but I like the way they review games, NO SCORE just an opinion and a final say in the end. I wish all review were like this it would put Joke sites like Metajoke out of business.

but i dont like KZ 2. Bought it feb 27 at 11:20 a.m., played it, liked the action. Later in the afternoon i played some more to my surprise that i dont like the game. I got bored, and i was trying to enjoy it. i dont like it , period. Too bad, i expected to enjoy every second.

How bout u freakin add Customizable button control scheme 4 the layout of the control. DAM U GG. I have lots of plp just on my list complaining bout that including me. 1 OF MY BUDDY ONLY HAS 1 ARM HIS LEFT & he disperatly needs that cus not only he needs 2 switch the controls 4 a lefty but move around some buttons 2 make it work 4 him. In conclusion he wont be playing wit me or at all cus its 2 dam hard 4 him. He went back 2 RESISTANCE cus it has that. Way 2 segrate every1 GG. IDIOTS. Also how bout u freaken add in game freinds invite so we can all meet in a room/lobby then go on 2 choose a game so we r all together. I cant believe a thing so important like this is missing but hey it does say in game invites in the back of the box. Thats misleading GG thank u 4 screwing that up. I had such a hard time trying 2 play with my friends. Yes i know u can click on ur friends & go 2 the game their at but what if its full or 10 or so of u r trying 2 get together. You know one thing I like about Kotaku is the way in which they review a game, I might not always share the same opinion (which is by no means a negative on their part lol, opinion is just that, personal opinion and differs from person to person) but I do like how they go about reviewing games, especially leaving out a score, scores serve no other purpose than fuelling fanboy wars.

Ahh...dammit, why must I wait for my brother to ship me my copy of the game! A sad brother I am to not yet be in the killzone, it'll still take 3-5 days after the official release to reach me (;_;).

Sony really does need another mainline shooter franchise. They pretty much gave up after the PS3 generation, and I'm really surprised they haven't tried at another high-profile, singleplayer-centric shooter; even if it weren't Killzone or Resistance.

I miss Killzone while I can see why they still do Horizon has some really good things but I do think that Horizon is overrated imo.

Or how about studios focus on projects that they feel passionate about, and not be forced to make something they have little interest in. It shows in the final product.

It’s still got potential for the modern era. The DNA is all there. The install base is there. The interest is there. The time is now.

I’m beating a dead horse here… but Resisitance FOM gun lay out was so fun, multiplayer was one of my top favorite experiences. Insomniac nailed it and I would love a remaster and maybe a redo with Reisistance 2. They listens to players who were wanting a Halo killer and it kind of lost its character from the first.

Warhawk, if they had just remade the first one not Starhawk which offered nice things like the build and battle.. but Warhawk was the best arcade shooter I ever played. Back when you didn’t have battle passes and you actually had to get certain amount of kills or ribbons to unlock different paint skins on the Warhawks and armor for your player.. Look at the success of Helldivers 2, it’s a fun game and it reminds me of Warhawk in a way. I’ve been wanting a remake or sequel since the beginning of the ps4 gen.. it’s hurts to have hope nowadays. Even with the demise of the studios Sony has a steady fan base.

Killzone game after Killzone 2 play style would be nice

Motorstorm would be epic with the visual upgrade, maybe this game would be a harder sell with the genre being not as popular nowadays..

PS3 ended up been a beast of a console, slow out of the gate, picked up steam, smashed through the finish line. The 1st PS3 slim is still one of my favourite consoles. So solid, great games, by the time GTA5 and the last of us had come out it was a clear winner for me

Sorry bud, but the PS3 generation was amazing and featured the greatest console comeback in history.

That said, I'd love it if Warhawk returned or Metal Gear Solid 4. It needs to not be shackled to the PS3 generation anymore. A Killzone 2 remake would be insane with modern graphics and that art direction.

I really miss this gen of gaming. It felt like the last truly "great" era for videogames before the modern approach really took hold.

The PS3 was such a glorious console. The UI, the games, the free online...just incredible.

I would pay good money for a Warhawk remake. Socom too. The last Socom game just didn’t do it justice. Folklore could use a remaster or remake as well.
Several other titles I would like to remade with the amount of visual fidelity the current gen has over the past consoles it could help articulate the games that we’ve loved growing up. I would love even some ps2 titles to remade.. Dark Cloud from ps2, Legacy of Kain series but don’t know what will come of it sense it was bought by Embracer group and all there layoffs.

This strategy is exactly what helped ruin Xbox. Sony more than Microsoft know when to let a franchise go and that is important to keep things fresh. The old games are there if you want to play them.

Resistance series and Killzone 2 & 3 remasters/remakes. Make it happen. They will print money.

FF13 is top of this list for me. No matter your opinion on it, it being the only numbered offline FF out of all 16 not to be on new consoles is odd. GTA IV would be great too

The only reason my PS3 is still connected is because of the Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm games that I still love to play. I am for remaking or remastering them.

I was never a huge fan of Killzone, but thoroughly enjoy Horizon. Guerrilla are superb developer and easily up there with the best of the best.

Need a killzone 2 remake from the ground up.

Great studio, loved the Killzone series, I wish they would do a remake of the first three games. Horizon is a real step up and truly put Guerrilla Games on the map.

Too bad I never got a chance to play Shellshock: Nam’67 would have loved to try that game out back in the days to see what were their beginnings.

Bring back killzone (maybe in 3rd person perspective)

It would fantastic to see what they could do in Killzone after the lessons learned through Horizon.

Or heck, give us even a short linear FPS from the people who designed Cauldron THETA in the Burning Shores expansion. Even just flying into it (after gliding around and finding its opening amongst the lava and Sunwings perched around it, with other bigger machines just along the path toward it) was an incredible experience.

Forbidden West is awesome, It’s pretty damn big compared to Zero Dawn and it takes a little while to get your skills up and get the equipment you need to fully explore the game (not going to spoil it) but once you do those things and start fighting the big ass machines it really is amazing. Some cool side quests to where you hold the fate of peoples lives by your choice and the cauldrons look amazing. Lots of skills , combos, special moves and add ons for your weapons so you can approach fights many ways. Looking forward to the name game but I wonder how/if Silas will be a part of it or not ? Sad he’s gone.

I'm hyped for whenever Horizon 3 releases but Killzone 1 needs a remake BAD and 2 & 3 need remasters. Criminal those games are stuck on PS3.
