For almost two months the Need for Speed World community has been waiting for the Porsche Carrera GT to be released in Need for Speed World. The wait is finally over and the GT will be available on Thursday, September 27th.
The Porsche Carrera GT is a mid-engine monster with 612 horsepower and 435 lb•ft produced by a 5.7 liter V10 engine. It can hit 60 MPH in just 3.6 seconds, 100 MPH in 7.3 seconds and achieve speeds over 220 MPH! Its development can be traced all the way back to the 911 GT1 and LMP1-98 racing cars. An interesting fact about the Carrera GT is that it was originally supposed to be built using a Flat-6 engine but was later redesigned for their new V10. All Carrera GT's are were built at Porsche's manufacturing facility in Leipzig and by the end of their run a total of 1,270 of them were built

Agreed truth. I cant wait to play this on my new gaming pc I just put together thats hooked up to my 42 inch tv thats hanging over my fireplace. I have a Microsoft Wireless Gaming Receiver, so I can use my 360 wirless headset, controller, or steering wheel. This is gonna be sic!
Until then, the truth should hit me up on some Motorstorm 2 or Burnout and get pwned before this game is released.
