They REALLY did not like the film. Colour me surprised!

Since the director of this movie is the same as the one from Doom, its no suprise to me that this movie sucks.

The guy makes high budget Uwe Bol movies.

I was actually considering to take my girl friends son to see this last night after seeing the commercial. I'm not sure what to watch now because this movie won't see on e of my dollars.

Well I guess this is going next to "Why did they did this as a live action movie!" Street Fighter, Super Mario Bros,Double Dragon, even DOA. You would think with so much story in these examples they can make a good movie. Well take off Super Mario Bros what was they Thinking???

Bad acting, Bad Fight scenes, horrible casting in every role, lack of characters from the game, little to no care from Hollywood about the IP. It was easy to see far in advance that this would suck.

I can help Hollywood make a street fighter movie that doesn't suck. Make a scene for scene remake of the Street Fighter II anime movie and cast the right people to play the roles and BAM you will have a smash hit on your hands.

But Hollywood is retarded so we will never see that happen.

I actually will see it when it will release in France, but only to see how much they failed and laugh as much as i laughed for the first Street Fighter movie.

...this IS one review, and not too many people know IGN for reviewing movies.

I'd wait to see what some other people that are more about rating movies say about it before rendering the verdict, just to be on the safe side (you never know, this could end up being what Edge's Killzone 2 review was).

But you know, I'd see it just for Kristen Kreuk. I'd tap that ass in a SECOND!

Fired Up was the best though. It was like forbidden love child of "American Pie" & "Bring It On". Loved it.

Another glorious addition to the "Why video games should never be made into movies" list.

A Street Fighter film needs to follow the Bloodsport/Kickboxer formula (both JC Van Damme movies incidentally). Keep the plot light and the action brutal.

About the review, I'm not surprised KK was the best actor in the film. Or at least the least objectionable. When KK isn't playing Lana Lang she can be a good actress.

Still, worse than the JCVD Street Fighter movie? Whoa. Like, whoa.

I still have never seen the animated movies, which look pretty good, and they just put them up on LIVE.

Here's MY SF movie, if it must be made:

IF they are just determined to make a SF movie, why not make it centering around Ryu? You make Ryu the main charcter, with Ken as his friend/rival that ends up helping him after years of them being separated. Guile is in there somewhere flying a jet, and the main antagonist is Sagat, who is still pissed about that scar on his chest.

You open the movie with Ryu dragon punching Sagat (who is a thug, but has morals), and it shows him being nearly killed, because his punch literally rips his chest open. Ryu is young and arrogant and doesnt care about Sagat's well-being and leaves him for dead.

Sagat is saved by Bison who takes him from being a 'decent' thug to a raving madman, intent on crushing Ryu. Guile is of course a navy seal that is on the hunt for Bison after he killed his whole squad (including best friend Charlie) while going after his syndicate.

Everyone else could be peppered in somewhere, or make cameos. Maybe Chun Li is training under Ryu, and Akuma is the mysterious figure that comes in and no one is quite certain who's side he is on or why.

Perhaps at the end, Sagat has a chance to finally kill Ryu, but decides to help Guile kill Bison instead, because he is still a moral dude deep down, and Ryu geniunely feels bad about what he did to Sagat, so he ends up forgiving him.

Go ahead Capcom, take that and run with it....lol

They have a Black Eye Pea playing Vega. Enough said.
