Like someone stated, the Snow levels were good looking but, man way too much snow. You really felt like you were trudging through knee-high levels.

I think there was enough people that liked this game not to make a sequel. It was one of the early games for the 360 but the game did look good. I did like the controls.

I hated when you got knocked down and the dam animation took way too long. Reminds me of Folklore, it was way to easy to get knocked down and slow to get up.

I'll def pre-order this one.

That I'm the only person in the world who really liked the first game. But there are 2 things I would definitely change.

1. Improve the characters/storyline
2. Please don't have the final boss and final battle be some ultimate showdown between super powered up versions, it was in a completely different vein than the rest of the game. I know the Japanese love to end all things mech with the mech's turning into super versions of themselves in a battle to the death, but it just seemed out of place.

I've only played like the first couple of stages and it was AWESOME.
I really didnt understand what everyone was complaining about. The game presented a lot of art and could very well tell that the character designs were top notch. The Boss enemies were brilliant. My only complaint in Lost Planet was that it was always snow.

But looking from the trailer.... wow... .

As others have no doubt gathered themselves, a 1st person shooter, this game-is not. Come on guys, if you're gonna try to speak intelligently about ANY subject, at the least get your terminology right.

Lost Planet 2 will have co-op, so I might just get the game. I played both the singleplayer demo and the multiplayer demo for Lost Planet, but didn't get the game.

But I really like co-op. That feauture makes games like Halo, L4D and Gears alot better.

Personally I didn't notice the controls being odd at all. I looked at what did what once and that was it. Never had problems after that. While I will admit the game moved a bit slowly because of the animations that's the style Capcome was going for and changing that will most likely make it not feel like a Lost Planet game.

Looks a lot better than the original. Funny how quickly the global climate changes in just 10 years. lol @capcom
