Is Microsoft moving too fast with Windows 7? That's the complaint coming from some members of the technical beta program. According to these folks, Microsoft isn't taking their feedback seriously, even when filed through their private beta tester feedback channels.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
This is surprising considering the consumer feedback on Vista? And I am not a Mac whore, I gripe about the same lack of product testing from them, too. I still wish I had a time machine and could go back to the day I decided to upgrade my ITunes 7.0.
This is why you wait a good long while after it is released to upgrade. Early adopters are always the ones to get shafted.
But I go on that glimer of hope that proper testing was done by the devs. I hate that they dangle the carrot but punish those who go to take a bite. And outsourcing the call center to India just ads fuel to the fire. Trying to have a conversation with someone who doesn't speak english is the most frusteration thing ever. If I didn't give these companies my hard earned money then I cannot really gripe. But I have spent thousands on MS, Apple, Dell, etc products.
Marvel Team Up Time!!!
This sort of thing doesn't surprise me. But since most people know that Windows 7 is really a tightened version of Vista, Microsoft needs to treat this as the most important product release in the company's history.
If Windows 7 doesn't take off and replace XP as the OS of choice for PC owners, they stand to lose a Lot of market share to Linux and Mac over the next four years.
