A curious countdown has appeared on the official Mortal Online website, sparking off speculation of trailers or big announcements about this incredibly realistic-looking but as yet unreleased MMO.

The beta is still in development, so a public test is unlikely.

Unless it's a beta or a huge amount of information I doubt I'm going to be interested, but countdowns tend to occupy my imagination. Damn marketing tools.

Mortal Online Adds Oculus Rift Support

VRFocus - Mortal Online, the high-fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) from Star Vault, has today launched an update that includes bringing Oculus Rift compatibility to the videogame. The first MMORPG to add official support for the virtual reality (VR) device, Mortal Online allows for players to continue with their existing accounts and switch on/off the Oculus Rift functionality through an in-game menu.
