MTV Multiplayer: Players of the upcoming PSP game "Resistance: Retribution" will be able to unlock several otherwise-inaccessible features in the game if they also own the $60 "Resistance 2." Is that a fair deal?

On Friday morning I went to the basement level of a Manhattan restaurant in order to be shown what the PS3 can do for Sony's next big PSP game.
"Resistance: Retribution," a March 17 third-person shooter from Sony Bend, was wired to a PS3 in an alcove that would normally be used to feed a family of four. A flat-screen TV was on the table, and a Sony producer wanted to show me the two ways the PSP and PS3 could connect in order to enhance the handheld game.
A PSP-Plus feature allowed the game to be controlled with a PS3 controller, transferring the controls from the single-stick PSP scheme to a dual-stick via the PS3 controller. The transfer deactivated the game's aim-assist feature. The game's controls page changed to display a PS3 schematic instead of a PSP. I was told the game might control more conventionally this way, but would be more challenging to play.
The gaming industry moves at such a pace that it’s not surprising we’ve seen countless franchises fall into obscurity over the years.
There is a rumour that Driver 1 & 2 remasters will be released for Switch and presumably for other systems as well.

a new dedicated single player Killzone campaign. With a fun multi-player.
Tenchu and Killer Instict would be great indeed!

Splinter Cell is likely to be one of the remasters launching next year (not sure whether this has to do anything with the remake previously announced)

Yeah, read the news about a new Virtua Fighter and I am so ready for it. Splinter Cell at this point I don't believe anything Ubisoft says plus I don't think modern day Ubisoft can make a decent stealth game. They will likely fuck it up.

The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has rated Resistance: Retribution for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, suggesting the PSP title will join the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog.
This will def be easier to play on tv than originally designed. I remenber hooking psp to ps3 to use a ds3. Cumbersome but it worked. Its a good spin off.
Hope we will get Valkyria Chronicles 2-3 and Carnage Heart at some point. There's a bunch of psp games I never got a chance to play.
I didn’t know this title existed, so when I saw the headline, I thought a new Resistance was being made. Man I miss that series!
