Scarface: The World Is Yours for Wii will include graphics and gameplay optimizations, an all-new control scheme that takes advantage of the Wii console's unique motion-sensitive Remote and Nunchuk controller design, as well as other alterations for the Wii audience.
The PC port of Scarface: The World is Yours has raised concerns, as community fixes have been found patched in the game installation.
EC Digital writes: "The current page was initially intended as a placeholder while we worked through ongoing licensing and technical matters. Unfortunately, the unintended release of certain builds on other platforms caused unexpected complications and concerns. Because of that, we feel it’s necessary to pause and reevaluate."
A new Epic Games Store listing hints at a PC release for Scarface: The World Is Yours, suggesting the classic PS2 title could soon make a long-awaited comeback.
Oh nice! I had the collector’s edition way back when. Or whatever it was called. Sold it, like a dummy. Would be nice to have.
Run run for the yaho, cool game back in the days. I believe I gave my copy to my nephew years ago. Racketeering was fun, and now that I think of it the mafia games, specifically the third also had somewhat similar gameplay.
Would be nice if this was re-released, but there's some red flags about how it's being handled. For one, anyone who managed to buy and download from Epic Games Store found that it was the same PC version as before, but with the SilentPatch and Fusion Fix mods pre-installed with the SilentPatch makers not even being aware it was being re-released in the first place.
The second matter is that EC Digital may not even have the license to actually publish the re-release.
Unfortunately they messed up the most basic element of this and that is the aspect ratio.
