I think Killzone 2 will get at least a 9/10 from Gamespot though because if they rated Resistance 2 9, then I expect no less for KZ2 because KZ2 is on a much higher level Graphically, Technically, Production Value wise, and I think that KZ2 is a lot more polished overall.

Second Killzone2 is a must buy, and Im really happy that my PS3 arrived today so I could play Killzone again in anticipation. Did you knew guys that my 20 Gigs PS3 bricked about two weeks ago? I called Sony and even posted on a similar article because someone said SONY charges $150 for repair. I live in Puerto Rico and as I said all the shiping procedure are worth the money. Most important where the hell I was going to find a PS3 with full backward to play my collection of almost 100 PS2 games?

I called SONY and I decided to pay cause they told me they would repair or replace the console. Today I receive my package on the mail...to my surprice I received a completely NEW!! NEW!! 20 gigs console!! Sony still has these babies NEW!! With full BC!! So I was really thankfull that I send the console to them and I give then a 10/10 for their consumer service. I even spoke to some representant in spanish!! Something I cant do when my Xbox 360 died and I had to wait more than a month to get it repaired just to die again 6 months after repair.

Anyway back to topic Im really looking forward to what these @$$holes have to said about K2. Bring it on!! Lose your little credibility left!!!

KZ2 is one of the very few games that are CLEARLY above average in the visuals department, and not being able to admit that is just childish, and a clear example of the lack of intellectual honesty.

claiming KZ2's graphics are just "above average" is just nonsense, everyone knows it, even the worst PS3 haters can admit that. a claim like that should be met with deserved ridicule, just like when someone claims Elvis is still alive.

I love how generally PS3 boys bang on like they know what a good shooter is when in truth it's only recently with the release of cod4 that you have tasted what a great fps is all about.PS1 never had one as good as Goldeneye and PS2 failed just as miserably against Halo and Halflife2.There have been some reasonable shooters for the PS brand but none of them equaling the utter brilliance of these said games.Killzone2 looks very solid but certainly not perfect though.You guys really aren't in the position to say if it's the most awesome fps because you simply wont know what the best is

So many things make a truly great fps experience and KZ2 is already lacking great scripting - it's only teens that seem to think the dialog is well done for a game like this.With other quibbles too already popping up, it's clear this is a perfectly good game that will unlikely followed religiously like the best

Anyone with an interest in fps for PS3 though should absolutely pick this up though as it's probably the best thing on your system.It's also better than the dire Resistance2

Sony really does need another mainline shooter franchise. They pretty much gave up after the PS3 generation, and I'm really surprised they haven't tried at another high-profile, singleplayer-centric shooter; even if it weren't Killzone or Resistance.

I miss Killzone while I can see why they still do Horizon has some really good things but I do think that Horizon is overrated imo.

Or how about studios focus on projects that they feel passionate about, and not be forced to make something they have little interest in. It shows in the final product.

It’s still got potential for the modern era. The DNA is all there. The install base is there. The interest is there. The time is now.

I’m beating a dead horse here… but Resisitance FOM gun lay out was so fun, multiplayer was one of my top favorite experiences. Insomniac nailed it and I would love a remaster and maybe a redo with Reisistance 2. They listens to players who were wanting a Halo killer and it kind of lost its character from the first.

Warhawk, if they had just remade the first one not Starhawk which offered nice things like the build and battle.. but Warhawk was the best arcade shooter I ever played. Back when you didn’t have battle passes and you actually had to get certain amount of kills or ribbons to unlock different paint skins on the Warhawks and armor for your player.. Look at the success of Helldivers 2, it’s a fun game and it reminds me of Warhawk in a way. I’ve been wanting a remake or sequel since the beginning of the ps4 gen.. it’s hurts to have hope nowadays. Even with the demise of the studios Sony has a steady fan base.

Sorry bud, but the PS3 generation was amazing and featured the greatest console comeback in history.

That said, I'd love it if Warhawk returned or Metal Gear Solid 4. It needs to not be shackled to the PS3 generation anymore. A Killzone 2 remake would be insane with modern graphics and that art direction.

I really miss this gen of gaming. It felt like the last truly "great" era for videogames before the modern approach really took hold.

The PS3 was such a glorious console. The UI, the games, the free online...just incredible.

I would pay good money for a Warhawk remake. Socom too. The last Socom game just didn’t do it justice. Folklore could use a remaster or remake as well.
Several other titles I would like to remade with the amount of visual fidelity the current gen has over the past consoles it could help articulate the games that we’ve loved growing up. I would love even some ps2 titles to remade.. Dark Cloud from ps2, Legacy of Kain series but don’t know what will come of it sense it was bought by Embracer group and all there layoffs.

This strategy is exactly what helped ruin Xbox. Sony more than Microsoft know when to let a franchise go and that is important to keep things fresh. The old games are there if you want to play them.

FF13 is top of this list for me. No matter your opinion on it, it being the only numbered offline FF out of all 16 not to be on new consoles is odd. GTA IV would be great too

I was never a huge fan of Killzone, but thoroughly enjoy Horizon. Guerrilla are superb developer and easily up there with the best of the best.
