You’re Hugh, a spacefarer tied at the hip to a mysterious girl named Diana, and the stakes involve a desperate crawl to contact Earth before the whole station goes dark. The atmosphere is thick enough to choke on, blending high-tech machinery with a sombre, eerie vibe that keeps you looking over your shoulder.
We all know the Switch 2 isn't going to rival the PS5 or XSX (and most certainly not the Pro) when it comes to visuals. The main point here is the days of having a gimped port that barely resembles the main game is long over (PS360 -> Wii era).
The game still looks and performs very well. No it's not gonna be 4K, no it might not have all sorts of RT bells and whistles. But it's all there, and you can take it with you on the go. DLSS works so well that in some comparison shots the Switch 2 version outclasses the Series S in terms of image quality.
Devs will get more comfortable with the machine over time and we should see some ambitious games land on the system. Will it be enough to get games like Crimson Desert or GTA 6? Time will tell there.
Honestly I don’t care if it can run third party games decently. I’m sure some do but I want exclusive games and there isn’t anything for me so far. They dropped the price of the Mario Kart bundle at Costco by 30-40$ so maybe I’ll grab it soon but exclusive games is why I have bought Nintendo for many many years now and it’s been bad on that front.
