After winning big on Steam, it seems Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel's Mewgenics will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5 at some point.

VGChartz's Karl Koebke: "It took me 60 hours to see the credits of Mewgenics and what most people would think of as the end of the game. There was still quite a bit to play after that, though, with a whole new act opening up. I put in another 15 extra hours, but eventually got tired of coming back to adventuring just so that I could continue working on strengthening my cats. Mewgenics is a fun game and definitely worth the 30 dollars I paid at launch, but given how long I’ve happily invested into other RPGs I was a bit disappointed in how tiresome the game loop became for me. That said, playing it felt unique and interesting, and I will be on the watch for what Edmund McMillen & Tyler Glaiel do next."
Joseph Writes- Mewgenics is incredibly weird and sometimes gross, but it's also the deepest rogue-lite and tactics game I’ve ever played.

Maisie from NoobFeed writes: What really makes Mewgenics special, though, is how it blends everything Edmund is known for into one cohesive package.
It has the randomness and discovery of Isaac, the tactical precision of Into the Breach, the long-term planning of management sims, and the emotional weight of generational systems. Somehow, it all works together.
