I actually have found myself using this feature a lot. I know it’s heresy to say it here, but yes. I low key regreted for a bit getting some games physical instead of play anywhere as I wanted to play them without being near my series x.
The numbers are most likely inflated, a user account begins play on console and then moves to PC that is the same usage case not an additional one. I'm sure there are double-dippers but most likely not he in the numbers they suggest at least without 3rd-party verification. With remote play on all of the platforms these days one can argue every game is play anywhere but of course your perfoprmance and enjoyment will vary. However, it does look like that crossbuy and crossplay will be a big selling point for both PS6 and Xbox Helix come holiday 2027.
