Path tracing requires frame generation for stable frame rates. The game automatically enables it alongside ray reconstruction. Ray tracing and path tracing use over 12 GB VRAM even at upscaled 1080p, so 8 GB GPU owners should stick to rasterized lighting.

Resident Evil Requiem surpasses 7 million copies sold, becoming the fastest-selling entry in the franchise
Street Fighter IV revitalized both the fighting genre and Capcom as a whole. They haven't let off the gas since. And that RE engine really turned it up. It's like everything they release now outpaces themselves. Still can't believe they're bringing back Onimusha. Top 3 games I'm looking forward to this year.

A fresh datamine of Capcom's Resident Evil Requiem has hinted at the game's upcoming minigame bringing back Mercenaries mode.
The game has been properly cracked by voices38, no Hypervisor bypass shit. It actually runs better without Denuvo. From Tom's Hardware: "Denuvo properly cracked in Resident Evil: Requiem, bypasses become plug-and-play — cracked version runs faster, smoother, and uses way less VRAM and RAM" https://www.tomshardware.co... I personally don't give a shit about RE anymore, same crap every year it seems, but I got to give to voices 38 good job.🙌
If Mercenaries is really coming back, that’s a huge win. It’s always been one of the most replayable modes in the series, especially in games like Resident Evil 4 and 5. Hopefully they modernize it a bit with online co-op or leaderboards, but keep the fast-paced arcade feel. Would be a great way to add longevity beyond the main story.

Resident Evil Requiem has retaken first place on the UK retail charts, according to GfK data for the week ending April 11, 2026. This week saw the release of Starfield on the PlayStation 5, which pushed the game up to third place.
I'll wait until it drops to £20, maybe even less used. I picked up Cyberpunk on the Xbox Series X for £20, just before it released on Switch 2, which had an eye watering launch price of £65. As predicted, the price on other formats rocketed. We'll probably see this on the next Xbox and PlayStation 6 with more bells and whistles, maybe even Cyberpunk. That's the norm these days.
