Ahead of the new Knights of the Old Republic, some modders have turned Starfield into Star Wars Genesis. Is it the RPG we're looking for, or is it more like hokey religions and ancient blasters? This feature will shed some light.

Dealabs:
Following our recent investigations, we can confirm that Starfield will indeed be released on PS5 . We are also able to confirm that the game will have a physical edition, scheduled for April 7, 2026 .
As with the Xbox version, Starfield will be released in two editions: Standard and Premium . Early access will not be granted to owners of the Premium edition. The exact content of this edition is yet to be announced.
And with that, the final Obscure Observation comes crumbling down around his feet. We were right all along. Xbox is now fully a third party developer. I'd be surprised to see new hardware out of them... now that the APU is taped out, they might have to release it just to keep from losing billions in R&D, or maybe they'll do the 3DO route and license it out like they did their handheld, but Microsoft has no exclusives left to sell their hardware, not like they sold any to begin with, so releasing another console themselves is a suicide mission.
This game needs to go back for a complete overhaul to get me interested in playing it now. But since that’s not likely to happen, it’s gonna be an easy pass for me.
you didn't miss much PlayStation users. its fallout, in space, with a tedious fast travel mechanic disguised as a customizable space ship.

The rumored Nintendo Switch 2 port of Bethesda Game Studios' Starfield has allegedly been delayed, and may not be released at all.

According to the source, Starfield is seemingly coming to PlayStation 5 on April 7, in both Standard and Premium editions.
They better Phantom Liberty the shit out of this game if they want a real success story on their hands, because as of now, this is no more than a $14.99 impulse buy during a PSN sale.
Oh boy, I can't recommend the vanilla version of Starfield to.... Anyone. I got the premium edition through an AMD deal for free, and still think I overpaid. Having said that, I had to buy Shattered Space because Star Wars Genesis stopped working without it, and that TC makes the game a LOT of fun. Per the Genesis forums, console versions will not be supported - so console owners will be stuck with the very subpar vanilla version of the game.
Bethesda hasn't even had their developer continue with oblivion...why would I trust them here.
