Two new Tomb Raider games are in the works, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, and Tomb Raider: Catalyst.

It's not ignoring the reboot trilogy, as the title might imply. From the interview: "with the reboot trilogy serving as her origin story, so we're seeing a more experienced Lara Croft."
They are really making this far more complicated as it should be
It's a unified timeline, but it's referenced the Dragons triangle, Survivor Lara's origin story but is set after Underworld which is in the Legend timeline where her origin was her plane going down in the Himalayas and losing her mother. Also Legends timeline had Anniversary which was a remake-reimagining of the first Tomb Raider game but if it was set within the Legends timeline. Then you have the fact if it was set after Underworld in the present day Lara would be in her 50s...
I think they are better off at this point saying Unified Lara is a new timeline but like James Bond from the Sean Connery to Pierce Brosnan days, she's technically done everything but they'll only reference what they need to for the current outing. Like the Lara we see in the Unified games looks like a completely different person to Survivor Lara (and for the better).
When you try to please everyone you end up doing the opposite, I hope they remember that, nobody is going to want to watch the animated series, the new live action series and live action film set within the same universe to understand future games.

While I’m glad to see Clair Obscur’s: Expedition 33 take home 9 awards, I was equally impressed by several new reveals for games launching in 2026. With this in mind, I wanted to highlight a few of those games today and explain why they might be worth keeping an eye on.
Resident Evil Requiem and Dragon Quest VII Reimagined are my 2 most anticipated. Wish Dragon Quest XII was coming out next year for the series' 40th anniversary but that doesn't seem to be happening.
