Destiny 2 Renegades arrives with the long-running MMO-lite in something of a nadir. The game’s last expansion, Edge of Fate, was intended to kick off a new story arc, but flopped. Player numbers are down, and while Renegades’ Star Wars roots would have been put down years ago, a cynical eye could see it as a desperate attempt to grab back attention.

TNS: After the underwhelming launch of The Edge of Fate, Destiny 2: Renegades feels like the combat of the legendary shooter.

Azfar from NoobFeed writes: Destiny 2 - Renegades is an update that has a hard time meeting the high expectations set by earlier games in the series. It feels like an old game, even though it has some fun parts, especially with the new guns and Renegade abilities. The story is based on Star Wars, but doesn't have an interesting plot, and there aren't any new Strikes, Crucible maps, or Raids.

This Star Wars-flavored expansion is cringey and light on content, but what’s there works surprisingly well.
I'm trying to play this and it's just not doing anything for me. I really miss the classic days of Destiny tbh. The bloat and ever grinding time for something that you won't use other than in that raid just sucks you dry real fast.
It's Destiny 2 : Star Wars Edition. It's funny how much this is a blatant rip-off. That being said, it's enjoyable so far, and getting a praxic blade (lightsaber) is pretty cool to play with. Let's see if this expansion can keep enough interest.
