Hopefully they can develop some kind of auto upscaler for Switch 1 games especially when played in handheld mode on the Switch 2. That's my only main gripe at the moment.

? These aren't rereleases or something, they are patches to make older games run better. Very weird to be against that.

Imagine PC gamers complaining about Nvidia releasing drivers for a new GPU to help older games run better.

Ciao JEECE, nice meeting you.
No I am not agaist it, however it is undeniable that the main selling factor for the Switch 2 is the capability to play Switch games better as the exclusive lineup of games is a bit weak IMHO. It is true that with all the new gen there are paid patches that enhance the gaming experience on old games, but for Switch 2 it seems it is their main business model. I do have a switch but going to get the switch two until it has some appealing and exclusive games which take advantage of the new hardware (like a new Zelda for example). Ciao

Looking at OCD in gaming, play games on a Switch or OLED Switch and there's not much in it, if either console is docked, it's a no brainer. What type of TV or monitor you have plays a major part and they're a ton of different types these days (LCD, LED, OLED etc.). Best solution, keep your Switch for Switch games. My Switch and Switch 2 are always docked, the screens are wasted, so I'm paying over the odds because there are no 'screenless' models. All these comparison videos between each format, who cares?

… could someone decipher for me please.

I think he’s saying he wants a switch with no portable screen??

If that’s the case I think you should be looking elsewhere for your gaming needs. Switch is designed to be portable first and foremost. Docking and playing on a tv is just an added feature.

… but I may be completely off the mark with what you’re trying to say to begin with though.
