not everything needs to be easy

the reason that people complain is simply because there was alot of hype around it suddenly and all the casual mobile fortnite trash came out and played it too.

Tacoboto127d ago

Moorwing my first three attempts: "Ok wow yeah this guy is really hard"

Moorwing on my fourth attempt: "Ok wow this was actually easy". I adapted, using the game's mechanics 🫨

When in doubt - pogo those enemies

Neonridr128d ago

there was a term coined back in the day called NES hard. There was a reason for that.

I'm glad we have some games that still punish you.

Just because you were traumatised when you were a kid doesn't mean this BS is fine.

Levii_92127d ago

I understand that you are frustrated probably (i'm assuming you are playing the game right now) but you need to hang in there. I mean come on BS? Well actually i can't say anything to that cause i called the game much worse things right to it's face in the heat of the moment but you need to perservere, you need to because it's oh so worth it and eventually when you get a hang of it you'll aslo get new abilities that will make you feel like a god and make your struggle fulfilling. And then you'll whoop ass. Just make sure to get the grappling hook as soon as possible.

gold_drake127d ago

see, for me back then it was "oh yeh, japanese normal mode" haha

thorstein128d ago

Remember when we only got 3 lives... for the entire game?

-Foxtrot128d ago

I remember Mickey's Wild Adventure on the PS1, looks child friendly...as a kid it was solid.

One small wrong move and you screwed yourself.

Kornholic127d ago

I never got past that tower level with the constantly rising fire/lava.

chrisx127d ago

Damnit man. That game was difficult AF in caps. It started quite easy but got much harder down the line. I managed to beat it by some miracle

Scissorman128d ago (Edited 128d ago )

yeah this game will sell millions of copies, it already has the wider audience

jznrpg128d ago

The first game was difficult as well. That’s part of the love for it.

2025 in Review: Winners and Losers

VGChartz's Taneli Palola: "Before we leave 2025 completely behind us and begin taking a closer look at the horrors that 2026 surely has in store, let's once again mull over the best and worst of the last year. As is more or less tradition by now, the winners side took ages to properly fill, while there was an abundance of choice for the losers, but to keep some semblance of balance I whittled both sides down to just five. Let's take a look, shall we?"

Good read.

“Phil Spencer made some rather curious statements following the layoffs, notably stating that ”our platform, hardware, and game roadmap have never looked stronger.” So the company is simultaneously the most successful it's ever been, while also firing people by the thousands. Its gaming division is supposedly stronger than ever, yet it's effectively gutted many of the studios that brought it success in the first place.”

This is how a textbook Makavelian society works, where the top dogs become more successful in terms of flair and pomp with soaring bank accounts, only to realize the foundation of the society is rotten and relatively close to collapse. According to former border patrol agent JJ Carell., in 2025 the US was the largest consumer of human in trafficking on earth, and that slavery in America was more popular last year than it ever was, even compared to back when slavery was actually legal in the 1800s. But activist today will blab about how happy they are. But activists today will blab about how happy and proud they are that slavery is technically illegal because they fundamentally fail to grasp how a Makavelian society functions.
