Build A Rocket Boy: "We are happy to announce that MindsEye's Update 4 is now released across all platforms; PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Update 4 introduces a range of UX improvements, numerous performance enhancements to the game and we’ve squashed a load of bugs! These efforts will continue in Update 5, where our team is working hard to deliver a major performance, combat and Enemy AI system improvement.
Many thanks for your continued support, we appreciate your passionate feedback - it truly helps us prioritize the updates that the community cares about most."

"MindsEye was released back in June 2025 on Steam. And was shown to be a new action, single player experience by the team at Build a Rocket Boy. Now, I’ve heard the negatives already about the game, but I’m always happy to give any game a fair shot. In addition, MindsEye has had a few updates since release which are meant to make the game run smoother." Kyle @ Thumb Culture

Dean Takahashi writes: "Mark Gerhard, CEO and CTO of Build A Rocket Boy, is trying to right the ship that Benzies started. In an exclusive interview, I asked Gerhard why Build A Rocket Boy chose to end its publishing collaboration with IOI Partners, part of the IO Interactive company that makes and publishes Hitman."

The Danish company has concluded its publishing deal with embattled MindsEye developer Build A Rocket Boy.
IOI has now joined the rest of the world not wanting anything to do with MindsEye. What a disaster.
They could of just released the game in February 2026 and avoided a lot of this
I’ll get it at some point but I’ll wait for more fixes and a discount
This game reminds me of Star Wars Outlaws in comparison. Has nothing good going for it.
Did they finally implement melee attacks?
