Shift Up confirms a Stellar Blade sequel with expanded scope, targeting a possible 2027 release window.
The director behind Sony Interactive Entertainment and Shift Up's Stellar Blade is hoping to have its sequel release in 2027.
I'll be there when it releases. Take your time and don't rush the game to release. I'm excited for whenever the sequel does come out though.
Stellar blade is gonna be the next huge franchise! Unequivocally because it's a well made, well rounded awesome single player game.
If they can deliver a "stellar" gameplay experience again with a better story then it'll be perfect.
Not that i didn't like the story. It was just the weakest part of the game. If they improve on that then we got a 10/10.

Stellar Blade was my GOTY last year alongside Astro Bot, so hell yeah! I am definitely up for a sequel.
I still need to buy the first one.
Now that I beat expedition 33 (which is the best game i played in a long time) I might pick this up.
It was such a shame that so many nippleheads focused on the costume change nonsense rather than the fantastic gameplay, amazing art design, the best OST of the year and great story and characters.
For me personally, I think it pipped Astrobot to the post for game of the year. Whilst it got plenty of attention, I still feel like ot is somewhat under appreciated.
I am looking to replay the game shortly to mop up the last few trophies for a platinum trophy. Absolutely stoked to hear a sequel is in the works!!
