Erik Brudvig from IGN writes:
"It isn't any secret that many publishers touch up screenshots before sending them out to the public. If a game doesn't look snazzy enough in its current form, digital artists can make sure you and I don't get the "wrong idea" about an upcoming game. Message boards around the Internet regularly post and dissect such "bullshots," but as you might imagine it is nearly impossible to get a videogame developer or publisher to admit to retouching screenshots."

FuRuy has opened a Twitter account called “Project Alice” teasing a new game announcement on April 25 at 20:30 JST.

New report from Skillsearch found that 22% of those surveyed had been laid off within the past 12 months.

It's a step forward for Stop Killing Games.
I hate bullshots. They are dishonest and only do gamers a disservice.
It also makes you wonder how many of these "screenshot comparisons" are actually valid.
That is why I don't look these comparisons. Demos and rentals first!
Graphics aren't a huge deal. As long as they don't suck, I'm fine as long as the gameplay is good. Companies shouldn't have to worry about the quality of screenshots so long as the game is fun to play.
Epic are the king of the bullshot.
