Gary Swaby of The Koalition writes: In this age of rapidly releasing video games, few titles can leave a lasting impact on us. An impact that leaves you thinking about the game weeks, months, and even years after you played it. The Metal Gear Solid games have that impact on me.

Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that cumulative worldwide shipments* of the home video game "METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER" (PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam®), which was released on August 28, 2025, have surpassed 2 million units.
I still haven’t bought it yet, I want to, but I also have every metal gear game on ps3, vita and pc too. I honestly feel more like I can just wait
Happy for that. It's one of my favourite games since PS2 days. And the remake is great, especially when you turn on Legacy filter in settings. Hope that Konami will continue making remakes, as I want the original MGS to be remade.

This Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater PS5 review looks at Konami’s lavish Unreal Engine 5 remake of the 2004 stealth classic, with stunning jungle visuals, modernised controls, and some stubbornly old-school quirks plus performance issues on Sony’s consoles.
It's been a while since I've played any MGS game so I may as well get this, I think I'll enjoy it. I think I only played bits of the one that was on Vita so it makes sense to play from the beginning of the story.. I'm not too familiar with the order they go in but I think they did an odd order with the Star Wars films didn't they? Not all that into them but it's just something I thought was a thing.
