Noctuary Review - The Night Journal

Gary Green: The visual novel genre has been integrated incredibly well into the many types of RPG variants out there, becoming something of the norm since the early PS3 era. This is thanks to the efforts of developers with a keen eye for narrative and interactions, such as Idea Factory/Compile Heart. With such a well-fused concept, it was inevitable that other studios would try their hand at adding a new twist to the formula, and not all of these studios are Japanese in origin.
