Nearly two weeks after Microsoft announced its intent to lay off roughly 9,000 employees, yet another workplace massacre that saw deep cuts across the company's gaming division, the ZeniMax Online Studios United union says it is now bargaining with the company "over how we move forward" following the cancellation of a new MMO that was in development at the studio.

Speed Factor throws players straight into a neon-lit highway of nostalgia, where punk rock riffs and pixel-perfect visuals collide in a furious symphony of speed. Inspired by the golden age of 80s and 90s arcade racers, this game invites you to tear through 50 diverse tracks across five vibrant locations, each brimming with retro flair. From customising traction assists to upgrading classic rides, Speed Factor is more than a race; it’s an adrenaline-fueled journey through the heart of arcade rebellion, demanding both skill and swagger from every driver who dares to take the wheel.

Looks amazing, especially the art style and animations. Not surprising though coming from Moon Studios. Can’t wait for this on PS5!
Ugh i don't know man, ever since this game got announced i was disappointed in the direction they went after the near masterpiece that was Will of the Wisps and i'm not happy that Moon Studios did nothing except work on this game for 6 years since 2020 and i say that cause Ori games especially the second one are one of my favourites ever. But as i understand this is their passion project so i hope it's gonna be worth it in the end for them. I wont be buying this, tried it and it wasn't for me.
Can't wait for the console release (physical would be a huge bonus and get my buy day one).
We said it, don’t sell to MS. Some execs made a lot of $$ but the company suffers in the long run.
Everyone working in MS's gaming division needs to be in a union.
People with knowledge of MS were warning about what's happing now but it went ahead anyway so a few extremely wealthy people get another pay-out at the cost of thousands of workers.
MS has taken games from gamers and jobs from workers because of greed, they have made the entire industry a lesser place.
Microsoft is all about the money.
"Microsoft is using engineers in China to help maintain the Defense Department’s computer systems — with minimal supervision by U.S. personnel."

This is why unions are so important.
MS is a cancer to whatever industry they venture in.
