LOL they just keep stepping on PR rakes

TheGamersDojo185d ago

Not quite. They keep placing them on the ground in front of them, then IMMEDIATELY stepping on it. Expecting something different to happen.

Damn retards.

DarXyde185d ago

I just wish the criticism translated into action.
People can complain now, but are games sales slowing down? Are we seeking alternatives to Windows or Office? Are people cancelling Game Pass?

As long as they (or any company for that matter) don't face consequences, nothing changes.

Eonjay185d ago

This is actually really scary. I am scared because I know that companies just want to use AI to get rid of employees and especially high paid employees. Capitalism a term we use to describe a system where the wealthy hyper fixate on their greed... and nothing more. There is no humanity in it.

Exthun185d ago

Actually no power of AI is needed to replace Phil Spencer, still there.

Travesty185d ago (Edited 185d ago )

Let’s blame capitalism again. It’s like blaming car companies for a drunk driving accident. Let’s ignore the fact that this is how Sony and Nintendo have done so well over the years. Competition drives innovation, better prices, and better products. Most countries have adopted this because it works. Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Canada, and the US..along with regulations.

That being said, Microsoft deserves all the flak after countless statements saying they would not layoff employees after buying their companies out. And soon after they laid off over 2500 and now way more than that. Their history shows this is a continuation of their bad management. Buyouts and closures ..

@Travesty, "Free Market Trade" and "Capitalism" are not the same thing. Capitalism relies on unsustainable, infinite growth, as it seeks to constantly maximize profits at any cost. Free Market Trade does not.

peppeaccardo185d ago

shhhhh do not tell them but their Generative AI server is hiring another Generative AI server to split the load on their CUDA cores. They really did not want any human for this role .....

S2Killinit185d ago

Besides being funny, its also scary. Almost draconian vibes here. They fired people and now AI posts the image of hiring… are we at the tipping point where the ultra rich empowered by AI enslave the rest of us?

Best Adventure Game of 2025

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "While not carrying the same heft it enjoyed long ago, last year was one of the adventure genre's most commercially-successful years in this century. A Telltale-esque adventure eclipsing 3 million sales in three months would be the talk of the town were it not for another adventure game hurdling over 10 million sales in two. Though not all finalists reached those heights, each did share a greater amount of spotlight compared to similar titles within their respective sub-genres.

Past any sales thresholds and popularity contests, 2025 also deserves credit for its creativity; the last time our entire shortlist consisted exclusively of new IPs was for Best Adventure Game of 2020. An impressive year for the genre, with even greater potential ahead."
