MindsEye’s flashy graphics and cinematics can’t hide its serious lack of substance and major performance problems.

"MindsEye was released back in June 2025 on Steam. And was shown to be a new action, single player experience by the team at Build a Rocket Boy. Now, I’ve heard the negatives already about the game, but I’m always happy to give any game a fair shot. In addition, MindsEye has had a few updates since release which are meant to make the game run smoother." Kyle @ Thumb Culture

Dean Takahashi writes: "Mark Gerhard, CEO and CTO of Build A Rocket Boy, is trying to right the ship that Benzies started. In an exclusive interview, I asked Gerhard why Build A Rocket Boy chose to end its publishing collaboration with IOI Partners, part of the IO Interactive company that makes and publishes Hitman."

The Danish company has concluded its publishing deal with embattled MindsEye developer Build A Rocket Boy.
IOI has now joined the rest of the world not wanting anything to do with MindsEye. What a disaster.
Leslie Benzies - fall on thy sword!
I don't get it. It looks better than a Bethesda game, but it's not getting auto 10'd.
