To follow up on our update yesterday, we are sharing insights and actions from the past 24 hours at the studio.

We are heartbroken that not every player was able to experience the game as we intended. Our priority is optimizing performance and stability so that every player, across every device, can enjoy an equally high-quality experience."

It's always very curious when a game releases in this shape , and the studio says they're sad people didn't have a good experience. I mean, you released the game like this. You knew what it was before you sent it out to the wild. So what could you actually expect. Were you hoping people just wouldn't notice. Or maybe thought they would just ignore the glaring issues.

They sure cranked up the advertising to 11 leading up to its release, all the while knowing the game was broken/not good. Now they apologize as if they didn't see this coming, as if they didn't know the state the game was in.

MindsEye Review - Thumb Culture

"MindsEye was released back in June 2025 on Steam. And was shown to be a new action, single player experience by the team at Build a Rocket Boy. Now, I’ve heard the negatives already about the game, but I’m always happy to give any game a fair shot.
