Rogue Trader gets an infinitely brief DLC teaser

Last year, Owlcat announced they were working on another CRPG set within the world of Warhammer 40,000 called Dark Heresy. This would have potentially led to an assumption that they were done with their previous game, Rogue Trader, but nope! They're still going, and a brief teaser for that CRPG's next bit of DLC was shared (and when I say brief, I do mean it), and to wet your appetite, some gameplay for Dark Heresy is there to have a look at too.

"Now, the technical shortcomings cannot be ignored, because as much as I fell in love with the game itself, there is still work to be done to wholeheartedly recommend it. Stuttering in between scenes, clunky animations, and low-quality textures and character models remind us that the Switch 2, perhaps, is already falling behind in the specifications department." How is this okay? Nintendo loves to make underpowered consoles.

‘Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’ is now available for the Nintendo Switch 2

"By the grace of the God Emperor, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader made landfall today on Nintendo Switch 2. After a successful launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox almost exactly two years ago, players on Switch 2 can now dive into the grim and opulent world of Owlcat Games’ acclaimed CRPG for the first time." - Owlcat Games.

It runs pretty terribly though and it seems to almost be a switch 1 game with a switch 2 sticker on it. From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t actually look like it’s able to achieve 30fps… I don’t mean stable 30fps. I mean just achieving 30fps in general. Which is a shame because it looks like a pretty good game.

I'm sorry to hear it...And that's a fair statement, so I don't know what they were thinking in this case...

I haven’t actually played it myself just going by what I’ve seen and heard from SwitchUp mainly. It is a shame though because it looked right up my street.
