IGN : From piloting an Atlan mech, to dedicated dragon-riding levels reminiscent of taking on Covenant scarab tanks in Halo 3 as Master Chief, Doom: The Dark Ages feels like id Software's answer to the cancelled ideas of Doom 4, and Halo, as well as Call of Duty. Will the introduction of long and elaborate cutscenes in DOOM The Dark Ages, as well as vehicle sections, interrupt Doom's intense gameplay flow? Only time will tell.
