
The producer of Lost Soul Aside has explained the reason behind the game's delay and shared details on Sony's support during its development.

I appreciate the devs still continuing to improve the game instead of dropping it and forget it ever exiated. It's esepcially surprising since Sony published the game, and we all know the kind of fate a Sony published game will get if it doesn't pull big numbers both critically and financially (*stares at Concord*)

Lost Soul Aside is, despite its issues with the voice acting and story, still a fun romp. The engaging combat, impressive set pieces, and quality art style more than compensate for the game’s shortcomings. The developer, Utilizero, has made a decent attempt with it, and with some story refinement, a better translation, and stronger cast of performers, their next game could be truly special.
