Excellent!

Previews from gaming outlets are overly positive so far. Confident that Obsidian will deliver another successful and solid new IP.

Currently playing Ninja Gaiden 2 Black/Path of the Mentor and having a blast! Almost forgot how the enemy AI is so well crafted as it is brutally merciless. Enemies will circle around you, flank you, perform combos, throw moves, guard cancel, guard crush, kamikaze, and even tag/combined range and melee attacks. Just awesome!

8 days will be more than enough for me to beat the game and be ready to enjoy Avowed Day One!

Lets go!

My man! My gaming soul is ready

@Double-Edged it’s precisely that ‘I don’t need to pay for a game’ attitude that has got Xbox where it is today.

Double-Edged479d ago

You think I give a sh!t about MS?
They are trillion dollar company……

I just love the value of game pass,,…. I get to play a bunch of games for a low cost.

I could care less where Xbox goes……..
Console sales don’t affect me.

Yep that attitude has got them a very successful subscription service and a successful online infrastructure while being one of the biggest publishers in the industry.

no, their exclusives were either shit or nonexisting. The rapid decline was already there during x1 era, combined with forced kinect.

Venom

GP isn't free especially day one releases so it's not like MS are running a charity. As gamers should we care if a multi trillion dollar company is maimh a profit or not?

glennhkboy479d ago

@Michiel1989 The rapid decline (of PS5) was already there during PS3 era, combined with ever increasing price of PS games & remake/ remaster/ remake of a remaster of PS4 games.

DodoDojo479d ago

I mean this is Microsofts idea and they want people to go the subscription route. It doesn't seem to be the great business strategy that they intended it to be, but it's 100% on them for the poor sales.

Obscure_Observer "So quit with your fake concern act and don´t blame us just because you don´t have it!"

I sold my Xbox Series X in December and I sold Switch in January. I have Game Pass Ultimate until August this year. I can continue playing all Game Pass games until my subscription runs out.

I wonder if the modders will move quickly on a VR Mod.

Definitely looking forward to Avowed. Since MS added the 60 fps mode on Series X I’ll give it a try but will primarily play it on PC.

This game looks a bit janky like Immortald of Aveum. I could be wrong but that’s what it looks like to me.

Avowed PS5 Review | Obsidian's Most Ambitious RPG | Spawning Point

Avowed arrives on PS5 after a year of post-launch refinement and it shows. Obsidian's writing delivers a richly layered mystery with companions who challenge rather than echo the player. Dual-wielding combat offers genuine flexibility across melee, ranged, and magical archetypes. Twenty to forty hours of filler-free content. PS5 players are getting the best version of a very good RPG.
