No Geralt no buy sorry, you can make Ciri all the angry, dark and rough talking you want, it's not going to be the same. Half of the fun of The Witcher games is having Geralt being a cynic, a hero due to circumstances or bad luck, a man that gets mixed in political affairs that he doesn't care about, hating magic but being surrounded by mages, it's dealing with a character mixed in love affairs but can't have children, saving people even though he's basically a mercenary, someone with a questionable moral compass who has no problem paying for company. He's an extremely imperfect character that makes a hero's journey to greatness despite all his faults, and that makes his tale great. Nothing of that is present with Ciri, she's an extremely powerful character from the get go, a heir of great magic, someone destined to greatness from the first minute, no hero's journey here at all. She makes a good side character, but a protagonist? It sounds incredibly boring, i'll pass.

I always seem to go for the Ciri as Empress ending lol! You telling me I was wrong now? That one took the most effort! 😭😇
