Every time we've gotten to play Avowed, we come away even more impressed. That happened again this time, as we took sadistic delight in being as evil as we could possibly be in this first-person fantasy RPG.

Avowed is headed to PS5 this February 17, 2026, as an Anniversary Update that houses new content for free has been announced too.
No physical = no buy... and none of that empty launcher disc nonsense (Doom The Dark Ages)
So is Avowed as big as Halo and Forza? (Agree for this) Or more of the same level as Sea of Thieves? (Disagree for this)

TV: "We're in the midst of the awards season, and our staff at Twisted Voxel has put together our list of Best of 2025 Xbox titles."

No autumn update shall exist, with Obsidian having announced that they're shifting efforts to "a larger update coming next February, timed with the anniversary of the game’s release". As such, stuff like new game plus, a photo mode, and a new type of weapon will now be arriving around February 18th, having been delayed from their original slot.
I forgot about this game after it was revealed to be 30 fps. That revelation killed all the hype and interest I had in this game.
This is one of those games where I put trust in the team and the game looks fun and they're known for story and fun. Haven't decided on PC or Series X. Will wait for DF review on that. Might have to plug my Series X back in.
Side note: Why are devs so pushy on NPCs helping us with quests? Absolutely needs to become a standard to turn that off completely, IMHO.
Hype INTENSIFIES!!!
February is so packed with great games and RPGs that it´s gonna be impossible to keep up with all!
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Assassin's Creed Shadows
Avowed
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Monster Hunter Wilds
The animation looks rough in parts, but it might be the new Skyrim everyone has been wanting. I might check it out after the multiplatform release.
Definitely my most anticipated at the moment, now that STALKER 2 is out. Love the Pillars universe and have been a fan of almost everything Obsidian has put out over the years. The game looks better and better every time they show it.
