Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Is Not Getting Additional Story DLC, Insomniac Confirms

Marvel's Spider-Man 2, despite a ton of expectations, won't be getting more story content as it makes landfall on PC next year.

SDuck453d ago

We got a full package and people moan wanting DLCs. ffs

The internet is a hell of a drug

Inverno453d ago

Wait so now wanting more content that people are willing to pay for for a game they liked is a bad thing? Lolz k

They left loose threads throughout the game. All signs (and leaks) clearly pointed to Carnage. Can't blame people for waiting this long and being dissapointed.

I guess they'll be in Spiderman 3 then. Here's hoping Insomniac ditch sweet baby inc and all their input by then.

RE:Carnage Storyline - I'd keep my eyes open for the next 3 to 6 months!

It won't be a DLC.

Demetrius453d ago

Ikr sweet baby inc mfs are irritating

P_Bomb453d ago

If the Venom game is real, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Carnage show up there. TGA announcement trailer would be nice.

monkey602453d ago

Ooh so you reckon an standalone expansion like Miles Morales?!
That'd make sense.

I do hope there's still the Venom standalone in the works. They can't not do Carnage and the wait for Spider-Man 3 will be so long they may not touch that thread again

Guess I can finally go ahead and pick up SM2 now. Once it goes on sale again.

A noticeable improvement over the Steam Deck, but those reflections are hilarious. You're definitely paying for better quality with that hefty price tag. I do like that density isn't really affected by quality, though.

darthv7292d ago

For the performance they were going for, increasing the reflections would not have been viable. The deck and rog can certainly be taken further into the quality mode, but obviously performance takes a huge hit..... but it does look good on a little screen.

shadowT92d ago

Yes, it runs somehow in low graphic resolution and with very limited effects. $1000 for this quality?

Looks impressive for a handheld that lets you play anywhere other than a living room or a desk.

XBManiac92d ago

It works best with Steam OS, so don't despair.
