Monster Hunter Wilds is shaping up to be a demanding title based on its system requirements for PC, and it seems even consoles like the PS5 might face challenges running the game smoothly.
DF: "We had the chance to check out five games at Sony's London HQ several weeks ago. Today, we're going to talk about Silent Hill f, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Monster Hunter Wilds and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. However, Alan Wake 2 is a game we've tested most intensely in the past, and we'll report back on that one soon in a standalone piece."

Improved PSSR can also be enabled for existing supported games via PS5 Pro’s optional system setting.
"Cyberpunk 2077 will also receive a patch in the coming weeks to support the new PSSR"
This is great news I cant wait
Some of the games in my backlog are getting updates which is really nice. When I bought the Pro I was sure that it would improve over time like DLSS and FSR and here we are.

A dataminer has discovered an art asset hidden in the Monster Hunter Wilds game files depicting four people playing the game on Switch 2s.
Well, the "equivalent" GPU for the base PS5 is comparable to something between the minimum and recommended PC requirements—more toward the "recommended." It targets 720p/30fps and 1080p/60fps with Frame Generation, respectively. And, yes, the Series S "equivalent" GPU is technically below the minimum requirements.
Obviously, this is not a 1:1 comparison, but it does illustrate how demanding this game is.
No performance mode = no buy, Capcom have become seriously incompetent with their last few releases. With how bad this and Dragon Dogma 2 look, there is no reason why there isn't a 60fps mode, especially when more visually intensive games do it (and open world ones as well).
Why are games that look worse than games from the past requiring more resources?
We have a big problem ...developers like Capcom are using upscalers like DLSS.,FSR ...the wrong way they use them to brute force the performance and with that they are lacking on optimizations for the systems. When we see a developer like Capcom using frame generation to achieve 1080P@60fps some thing is wrong.Capcom is putting the minimum work on the game and using tricks like upscalers to release the game the Faster they can.
