The Inquirer writes: "For the past three years I have been a Linux fan-boy using Ubuntu most of the time and Windows XP when I needed to play games or run CS desktop lay out stuff.
In a bid to focus my bile on something other than Apple for a bit I decided to play with the new Windows 7 beta. I was disappointed. It was pretty good and, if I am right, could result in the move away from Voleware to Linux and OSX being stopped in in its tracks.
Anyway I installed the 64 bit version of Windows 7 on my Phenom 9350e, quad core based machine with 2GB of very fast RAM."

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.

If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Someone explain to me what Windows 7 does better than XP to justify me spending 200-400 bucks (AUD) to "upgrade"? To me it just looks shiny and costs more, thats it.
If a hosipal or office has 100+ computers why should they upgrade?
or u can just torrent it in a week or 2 from release
yea.... why pay or a piece of software thats just asa good as something you can have for free...
no thanks ill keep xp and duel boot the penguin
You cant really kill linux, the users of Linux are far more loyal to their operating system (for a reason) and there are plenty of ppl with older hardware who dont care about any new games on their pc and they just want to do their random word processing, internet browising, news reading and plenty of office work.
I'll stick with OS X thanks.
