Story is wannabe game of thrones with poorly written characters.
And then we have the gameplay and world
No party members
No RPG elements.
Enemies scale to your level making levelling completely pintless.
No elemental weaknesses, resistances and status conditions.
Only one weapon, and 7 'styles' but you can have only 3 active at the same time.
No minigames.
No clothing customizations.
No airships or vehicles.
The horrible sidequests are made by MMO devs, people who have no idea how to make sidequests.
This game is a disaster.

Lol maybe the one who thinks this is stellar is the one who has a narrow vision and hasn’t played enough games..

I even platinumed it.. how about you?

Eternal: same feeling really! Add to that a scripted progress, assisted combat using evasive rings and the ridiculous “world map/stage select”..

Only good thing with this game is you can skip all cutscenes and dialogue in light speed.

I did actually. You platinumed it but didn’t enjoy it, how interesting from a psychological standpoint. It must not have been that bad to you after all.

A lot of the things Eternal mentioned are not even true lol.

Most quests are fetch quests from any given game. XVI handles them better than most of them by just having an actual decent story and with many of them being quick. There’s even a skip option with a return to quest giver option making them quicker than even that. How many games in the past 20 years allow for this?

Then there are the hunts and chronolith trials which are pretty fun.

Also you know you aren’t required to use the rings right?
