Did you compare between PS5 and a $500 dollar PC? No? Oh you didn't?

Then of course the PC version is going to be better.

PS5 - "Performance mode is more closely able to achieve the intended target of 60 fps. The frame rate is not perfect in any of the PS5 modes, but acceptable without major instabilities."

Acceptable is good enough for me. I bought the game but I won't be playing it yet because I'm playing something else atm. Hell, I might even wait to play it until PS5 Pro if it comes out this year. But I probably won't be able to wait that long. Game looks great

The "your PC needs to be the exact same cost of a console or comparisons don't matter" is old, and easily shot down. Is your console a full blown PC? Does it have backwards compatibility dating back to beginning of games itself? Can you emulate virtually any console and game on it? Mods for almost any game? Multiple storefronts meaning better pricing on games across the board? Access to almost any controller configuration you want to use? Free online play?

A console costs you a lot more than the initial sticker price every generation, though offers very little agency over the games you own.

PS Plus is like 4-5$ a month if you buy a year on sale and 79$ a year if you pay full price. But you don’t need it for single player games. It doesn’t a cost a lot more if you don’t want it to. All you need is a PS5 and games.

Yes, the grass is green, and the earth is not flat.

Considering the price difference, and more powerful modern hardware, it's expected to.

Since the 4090 came out, pretty much. 3080 is more powerful too except for the lack of vram. PS5 is still decent but you'll notice bigger differences soon, especially with next gen GPUs just around the corner.

Console performance is always going to be a handful of years behind tech already on shelves for PC. Console is always trying to play catch up, though they're usually an entire generation, or even two, behind at launch. It only worsens from there.

It's honestly not that hard to outperform a PS5, we've had hardware that matches the PS5 before it even released, what you can buy today easily blows it out of the water.

While it's nice to look at the differences, I'm more interested in how well it runs and is optimised for PC since that's the version i'll eventually buy.

Now that they made a lot of money hopefully they can completely finish the last level. Loved the game but you could tell the end level was unfinished hence the name of it.
