GameSpy writes: "We've kept a close eye on Sega's new M-rated Wii bloodsport MadWorld since E3, and our diligent attention paid off earlier in the week when we were invited to Sega's offices for a hands-on demo. Although our demo consisted predominantly of gameplay that we'd previous seen in Leipzig, it was nice to finally get a chance to try out the Wii motion controls. In a game that promotes mass murder using extravagantly gruesome techniques, MadWorld manages to make the mutilation feel pretty intuitive and seriously inventive... a good thing considering how much carnage you'll be causing."
Spiffy:
+Tons of varied methods and tools designed especially for killing
+Cool graphical look
Iffy:
-Black-and-white palette can confuse the frenetic action
-Seriously gory, like, we are not kidding
The motion-controlled maverick of a console that had everyone from age 9 to 99 swing a TV remote to bowl and painstakingly recreating themselves as Miis, had its share of hits, but even so, some titles didn’t quite get their due.

Beneath all the Smash and shovelware, the Wii really did have quite a few gems.
Not a bad list.. I would add Excitebots, Kororinpa 1 & 2, Bit.Trip series, Geometry Wars: galaxies

Keanu Reeves appearing in the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 is far from the strangest celebrity video game appearance. Game Luster's Kate Mitchell highlights gaming's most unexpected voice acting moments.
