Zenless Zone Zero Confirmed to Be a PS5 Console Exclusive

Zenless Zone Zero, the latest game from miHoYo, is only available on the PS5, and it seems to be staying that way in the foreseeable future.

For the console of all consoles.

And the generation of generations!!

Zenless Zone Zero is zenseless...complete F2P shite.

Kyizen687d ago (Edited 687d ago )

It's not bad actually. Like an action based Persona game. Curious if it has cross saves from Android to PS5

blackblades687d ago

I think it does you'll have to link your accounts. Also that guy is another one of those trash folks knowing they hate these types of game but comes in to show there toxicness of hate.

By free to play standards I find this company makes good games (although often with inconsistent writing), sadly they would simply be better if you remove any the elements that support the f2p model.

I don’t like exclusivity in this sense. It is infuriating. I don’t have an Xbox but just invest this money in game development

RhinoGamer88687d ago

The writing... cringe-worthy.

blackblades686d ago

Writing fine to me its just like all jrpg where its just much talking and dialog. Could be fix with cinematic scene.

jznrpg687d ago

Too bad it’s free to play. If they made it a pay once game without all the MTs I would be interested

I have not spent a dime in any of the Hoyoverse games and have enjoyed every single one of them. I think they’re great stories and great characters, especially if you’re into anime and fantasy RPGs.

Hoyo games aren't sustainable as 'premium titles.' They would have one season and then proceed to die. Take Genshin Impact, for example; according to their former president, that game alone has a $200 million per year upkeep cost.

It would need to sell 3 million units yearly at full price ($70) just to cover its yearly costs, and that is before making any profit and assuming the initial investment was zero.

"And the good news for Genshin Impact doesn't end there. data.ai are now confidently predicting that the game will pass $6 billion in earnings before the year's end."

It's not like there aren't any people paying for the in-game items. They seem to be doing good revenue-wise to me.

@raWfodog

??

I think you are answering to the wrong post.

raWfodog683d ago (Edited 683d ago )

No, I was responding to your comment that Hoyo games aren't sustainable. That quote was from inside the link that I posted. If Genshin has a $200 million per year upkeep as per the president, I was showing you that they are about to pull in $6 billion in earnings before this year is out.

I think they are covering that upkeep cost quite well as the game is still ongoing for four years now. They are getting all their money from the people on mobile, PC, and PS5 who are buying the in-game items to fuel their gacha pulls.

I've played it for a bit on PS5, it lacked potential, gameplay felt like a straight port from mobiles. Kinda disappointing, since it was even on my wishlist...

It says in the trailer that it's a minimum of something like a year or something, can't remember what it said, doesn't really need an article for that

I think their controllers are one of the only things that makes them solid profit in their gaming division XD. That’s why they make so many of them lol
