you can really tell what good software will do for Sony systems. I mean, look at the PSP hitting 60 grand!

I agree the PS3 needs games that caters to the Japanese audience

Yakuza 3 should provide a healthy boost...plus FFV11: Advent Children + FF13 demo should boost sales...

then SF4 and RE:5....

then the grand daddy FF13 later in the year + plus the price cut will come around the time this game launches also

I don't think that's correct, 60k units but the softwere side doesn't reflect this. Check the DS software and it's obvious the psp is being bought for more than it's gaming abilities. Never mind top10 check the top 30. The PSP has 3 games most of the time it's 1 or 2,we can say the PSP is done software wise but hardware it can hold it's own. Ever since the psp3000 came out it was doing some good average numbers, a good game gives it a boost for a week or few.Developers know this and that why it's a sinking boat when it comes to software which is a shame because it is a nice little system.

World wide numbers require a lot of guesswork. If you see any site that has WW numbers that isn't Edge or Gamasutra or the hardware companies themselves, they're making shiz up.

But, if all you want is some random guess:

Nintendo DS: WOW
Nintendo Wii: WOW Jr.
Sony PSP: Yeah RLY
XBOX 360: America, HELL YAH!
Sony PS2: Still hanging on

they should know that we are OG fans of VIII as it sold truckload as well. not as much as VII or X. I personally didn't like IX but X and VI are my personal fav.

Shadow Hearts 2 covenant is another game I love. I hope one day someone can make remake, I would be delighted
