For years I played online with PC shooters which means mouse and kyboard if you don't want to be toast all the time and I've got really sick of it. Why? Partly because of playing online COD4 on PS3 which was a revelation. Everybody using the same tools was brilliant whereas with the PC I always felt that one guy seemed to get an advantage during a game then I't'd comeout that he had a gaming keyboaerd/muse set up that cost hundreds and it just seems that the more you spent the better your PC chances got.
Now as far as the Wii goes this is why The Conduit is important. hopefully the controls will be the best they've been yet and online the Wiimote set up is easily as good for me as mouse and keyboard(will be even better with Motion + too)was so as long as the numbers don't get gimped a la COD WaW and we don't get SSBB levels of lag it stands a chance of being one of the best online shooters ever-I get laughed at for it but I feel it's fair. we'll all have the same stuff,a level playing field and an accurate intuitive controls system-it'll be a true test of skill like COD4 is just with different controls more suited to FPS. but maybe I'm stupid.
Madworld looks incredible but on small scren I struggle to pick out the action.I've ben told it's much clearer on a big plasma(bad on a poor LCD apparently)though so I'll see. It sounds great mind and I agree with everyone that a good game is a good game. Hell even on the DS a game is good if it's good-we all DO like games don't we?

Your right on every aspect you mentioned. Those that laugh at you are just in the early stages of denial. I know someone beside Nintendo will put some great use to motion+ and I just want the rest to copy if they are to lazy. For god sakes Lucas Art just make a real dam light saber duel game with it. I mean we've been playing games so long, pressing the buttons for so long, I think a lot of us want to be in that position now and actually wield the power.
