
The long-awaited co-op heist game Contraband could stare down a massive delay on Xbox, following recent layoffs at Avalanche Studios.

Just Cause developer Avalanche has closed its Liverpool studio, following the cancellation of Xbox exclusive Contraband earlier this year.

It's been years and the only thing ever shown was some key art and a CGI render of a crate.
It's entirely unsurprising and was really a project that should never have been announced so early. But like perfect dark Microsoft rushed the announcement to show they are serious about gaming and collaborating with other developers outside of their core studios.

Was afraid this was gonna happen. They could still show it off but don't have a release window at all.
